Why Should I Use Bath Salts?

Other than the fact that it's an amazing way to calm yourself down, submerging our bodies into a body of water and salt has actually been proven to be a great way to recharge your body naturally. This practice helps soothe muscles, hydrates skin, detoxifies the body and relieves some swelling. We recommend making bath salts part of your daily routine because it is a great way to remain healthy inside and out.

By soaking in one of these baths for at least 15-20 minutes weekly your skin’s barrier will improve, be hydrated and any inflammation will be decreased. The minerals used also work to create more youthful and glowing skin by cleaning the toxins and impurities from the inside out.

We all know that a good long bath lessens stress, and this is because soaking with hot water + bath salts your body’s overall circulation is improved which helps ease your stress levels. Resulting in a clearer state of mind and less rushed or anxious thoughts.

Research shows that 1 in 10 Australians suffer from insomnia, and this is more common in women. In order to attempt to combat this, taking regular baths at a set time will help your body regulate a sleep schedule. This practice makes any individual sleepy and drowsy due to its ability to alleviate stress and calm people down because of the magnesium-rich salts.
