We want you to be absolutely in love with your new items, so if you're not satisfied with your purchase, we offer returns for store credit within 21 days of package delivery for all full-priced items. This store credit is valid for 12 months and can be used on anything else from our website so you're sure to find the right piece for you!

It is our store policy that refunds will only be offered in the case of manufacturing faults.

Before you apply for a return, please check that the items you wish to return meet the following requirements:

  • Merchandise must be returned within 21 days of package delivery.
  • Merchandise must be returned in their original unworn and unwashed state.
  • Merchandise must have garment and swing tags still attached.
  • Any products marked as 'Final Sale' cannot be returned.
  • All footwear returns must include the original shoebox in its original condition. The shoe box cannot be used a postal box and requires its own postal packaging.
  • Due to hygiene concerns the following cannot be returned: intimates, hair accessories, hats, earrings, cosmetic/beauty products, Undercover Style Helpers.

Please note if you paid for shipping at the time of your original order you will not be credited the cost of shipping as part of your return. From the day returns are received at our warehouse, we aim to process them within 3 business days. However during busy period, such as around the holidays, there may be a minor delay. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

Returns from the USA

Fortunate One offers several easy return options within the United States!*

1. Happy Returns: Select Happy Returns to drop your return off at a Return Bar (9,000 locations in the USA and growing!) near you. You will be issued a QR Code to present at the Return Bar; you do not need to repackage the return. Your return will be processed at the Return Bar. (PLEASE NOTE: Happy Returns has a maximum 9 items per return limit.)

2 Standard Post: You can purchase a prepaid, trackable shipping label to print and affix to your return package. Drop it off at your local Post Office or Box and we will process it once received at our warehouse! If using the original Fortunate One packaging to return your item, please ensure the original post label is removed or fully covered to avoid delays in delivering your parcel back to our warehouse.

Fortunate One is not responsible for the cost of return shipping.

*Please note labels are not currently available for Alaska and Hawaii. We are sorry for any inconvenience. Please register your return and you will be given further details on how to complete the return.

Fortunate One does not offer exchanges. However if you wish to order a different size, you can return your merchandise as soon as possible to avoid missing out on your desired size. We'll issue you a store credit on all items eligible for returns. Once your account is credited, you can use the store credit to order an alternate size, or anything else on the website that catches your eye.

Store Credit
Once we receive your return, your Fortunate One account will be issued with store credit. An account will be created for you if you previously checked out as a guest. You can view your total store credit balance at any time by logging into your Fortunate One account.

Your Fortunate One store credit can only be used at Unfortunately it cannot be transferred to cash, another person or another account.

Any purchase amounts that exceed the value of your store credit will require an additional method of payment for the remaining balance due. You will be prompted at checkout to select your preferred payment method to complete the order.

Using your store credit constitutes your agreement to our Terms.

Faulty Items
Our warehouse team will do their best to inspect every last product before shipping anything out to you. However if you unluckily come across a manufacturing fault, please contact as soon as possible with a photo of the fault so we can look into this for you. We will ask you to provide photographic evidence of the manufacturing fault. Refunds cannot be guaranteed without this.
