Shipping

All orders are normally processed and packed within 24 hours of placement, excluding weekends and public holidays. Orders received before 2pm (AET) Monday to Friday, will be sent out the same day. However during our busy period, such as around the holidays, there may be a minor postal delay. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes. Please take care to fill out your full name at checkout, including first and last name to prevent any postal delays.

When the payment for your order with Fortunate One has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email. If you don’t receive an email, please check your junk mailbox.

You will also receive an email with tracking details once your order is packed and leaves our warehouse. It may sometimes take up to 48 hours for tracking information to be available. If you still can’t find the confirmation or shipping email, it’s possible that you have entered an incorrect email address.

You can contact us with your Order Number to check the status of your order or for any other shipping queries.

Tracking

You will receive an email with your tracking details once your order is shipped.

If you are unable to track your order within 48 business hours of placing the order, please contact us and we will investigate straight away.

Fortunate One is not responsible for any missing packages due to errors from the customer.

Customs Duties & Taxes

As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. All customs and duties are the responsibility of the customer, even if you refuse the shipment upon delivery. Where duties and taxes are applicable, you must pay for these before your items are released from customs.

We are required by law to state the value of your order directly on the package. Customs agents have the right to release or deny release of your package. By law, we cannot mark your package as “gift” to avoid paying taxes.

If you refuse to pay any additional fees, your package will be sent back to us and you will be refunded the cost of your order minus any extra shipping charged incurred by us from the shipping company.

Currency

Customers can choose to be charged in either Australian dollars (AUD) or United States dollars (USD). Your financial institution will determine any applicable exchange rates and charge you accordingly. If neither of these currencies is your local currency, the exact exchange rate that you will be charged is determined by your financial institution.

You may also be charged international transaction fees. To avoid these fees, you can check out with Paypal, who will charge the transaction in your local currency.
